Do you shoot digital or film?
We are shooting all digital now! Professional Digital cameras deliver superior picture quality. With Digital format we are not limited to the number of pictures that we capture on your special day. Shooting digital also gives us the ability to artistically modify the picture to best describe the emotion involved.

What kind of equipment do you use?

Do you take Black & White or Color Pictures?
All pictures are captured in color, and then in post processing the pictures are converted to Black & White, Sepia or Hand Tinted, depending on the picture.

Do you work with an assistant?
My husband works with me as a second shooter/assistant. We Shoot as a husband and wife team. This creates the advantage of having two setsof eyes, and provides the ability to capture the preparation of both bride and groom.

How many images will we receive?
We usually shoot about 50-100 images/hour. This is not a hard figure and varies from wedding to wedding. 200 pictures will be printed at a lab and organized in your proof album.
You will receive two discs. One with the slideshow of your images to be played on your computer and one with your HI-RES images. Images are also placed in the recent weddings section. Family and Friends can view and order the pictures right from the website (requires password).

Do we need to provide a photo list?
We love to capture your day as it happens, in a photojournalistic style. Lists are not needed. Prior to the wedding please discuss with us any unique situations.

How much time should we reserve for formals?
It all depends on how many formals you want to capture. On average we recommend that you set aside 1 hour to capture the formals. Usually it's best to do the formals away from the rest of the guests. This will enable us to capture the formals quickly and smoothly without distractions.

Formals? I thought you said you shoot photojournalistic.
Even though we shoot in a photojournalistic style for the rest of your special day, most couples find it important to capture a few formal pictures. We usually capture the traditional formals first (bridal party, families, etc.) but then we like to have a little fun with the couple themselves in a comfortable environment. We give you some loose direction and then capture the interaction between the two of you. It's a lot of fun! We dedicate ourselves on your wedding day to capture the laughter, tears, happiness, and excitement in photographs.
